Lochsie is described as the ideal honeymoon cottage. Located down its own little driveway, it looks away from the other cottages towards the golf course and up to the spectacular hills on the Estate.
Lochsie is arranged over one floor. The porch as you go in, kitchen on your left, bathroom past the kitchen, then on your right the bedroom, living/sitting room with pointed stone walls and woodburning stove.
The south facing porch catches the sun so is ideal for eating meals while enjoying the view and the abundant wildlife.
Please note: There are ground nesting birds of the highest conservation priority in this area, together with livestock (particularly sheep and lambs).
Wonderful sunny Autumn weather to help us enjoy this marvellous landscape. Arriving just after the warm summer finished we've been very grateful for the easy-to-use fire, and generous supplies of wood, coal and newspaper. Linn of Dee was a great day out in the sunshine. The Pottery does a very good slice of fruit cake, which they are willing to sell as takeaway. Great soup to eat in too! We will remember this characterful cottage and its unbroken views.Joy and David.
